The effectiveness of two other models (First Baptist Church, Dallas Texas, and Shades Mountain Baptist Church, Birmingham, Alabama/First Baptist Church, Carrollton, Texas) was evaluated. Chapter three examines the field of adult education.  Chapter four looks at the mechanics of the study.  A series of eight expository sermons are preached as the backbone the project.  All the sermons are taken from the Prologue of John's Gospel, with the exception of the first, which examines the reliability and authority of the Scriptures. Chapter three examines contemporary writings on purpose, vision, values, change and transition. Chapter three presents a model of purpose-driven church and another church that underwent transition toward being purpose-driven.  Chapter four describes the intervention and testing used in the project. Interventions focused on sermons and meetings, while testing used questionnaires and interviews.  Chapter five analyzes the results of the testing using subjective and objective evaluations. Chapter three also deals with a historical review of what God has done through the prayers of his people.  Chapter four is a discussion of the project, and the materials used in training intercessors to develop an intercessory prayer strategy that results in evangelistic growth. The project report provides background on the traditional relationship of the pastor with his congregation in the Korean Church; introduces three key goals; and discuses this study's methodologies. The author presents the biblical, theoretical, and historical foundations for cell group ministry considering 'the church' as the koinonia associated with Paul. It also introduces aspects of the cell ministry movement in other locations, such as China, India, Africa, Australia, and Korea. The project discusses the disillusionment within the Korean church community due to changes in traditional religious, political and societal expectations. Through a teaching curriculum called 'Theology for Dummies,' a group of members from First Baptist Church learned simple steps for applying the Word of God to their everyday lives.  Chapter one of the report describes the ministry setting of the First Baptist Church and defines the need for and goals of the project.  Chapter two is a biblical survey of the relationship between beliefs and behaviors.  Through examining several Old and New Testament passages the author concludes that God has given mankind His Word with the intention that it change human behavior.  Chapter three is an examination of some social theories of learning. Chapter four describes the 'Theology for Dummies' curriculum.
