First Baptist Church (Henderson, Kentucky) heard a series of sermons on prayer and attended a prayer seminar.  In addition to these, a selected small group studied various aspects of private prayer during seven weekly meetings. The author conducted an extensive personal study of the subject utilizing both technical and devotional sources.  During the ten-week project duration, the author preached sermons and led a task force of ten persons in a weekly, intensive study of prayer.  The disciplined practice of prayer increased in the church.
