The project was designed to help youth bridge the gap between faith and reason and prepare them to 'give an answer' to some difficult questions of faith.  A six-week study for 7-12 graders entitled 'Be Ready' was designed and taught. Their parents are engaged throughout the project in a teamwork effort with the author.  Missionary parents provide input to the author concerning methods of value instruction.  Parents meet in a workshop with the author.  The parents work with their adolescent MKs in a home-use phase for eight weeks.  The author works with the adolescent MKs in a review and enrichment phase during the same eight-week period. To attain this, the author wrote a seminal guide entitled Masterculture.  Four families were chosen from very different cultural backgrounds, including American, Haitian, Chinese, and Guyanese.  The Masterculture seminar was then held over a period of three months.  It included weekly meals, Bible studies and studies in cultural anthropology. In eight learning sessions, church leaders studied demographic changes in the student population, revealing that the established concept of the ages, needs, and goals have changed drastically.  After surveying ministry needs and opportunities, church leaders presented their findings to the congregation.
