Scripture records extended families and clans living together showing respect, appreciation and love for each one's contribution regardless of sex, age, or position.  Our current century has experienced a dramatic change in lifestyle, resulting in a dearth of births and a noticeable increase in longevity in the life of seniors.  The demographic change has institutions within society struggling to cope with possible solutions.  The local church in particular has experienced an aging congregation which of necessity demands restructuring in programs.  The author, himself a senior, has researched statistics, church policies, and interviewed church leaders that have prepared for the change. Research explored population statistics, theological foundations, and care giving issues.  A protocol was created for congregational interviews to guide the interaction and provide useful information for effective partnerships to grow.  These interviews brought to the surface both issues in senior care ministry and the desire for partnership efforts potentially to ensue. While our senior population is growing faster than any other age group, our general population has reached a point of nearly zero growth.  Our seniors will soon outnumber our children. Thus we are on a social collision course of epic proportions with no unifying catalyst in sight.  This paper is an appeal for the evangelical church to be this catalyst. We have not yet assumed that position. Based on historical, physiological, psychological, sociological, and biblical perspectives, the project reports and evaluates development of a ministry, including a regular seniors' fellowship meeting, a special series of five-lesson Bible studies, and related programs such as small groups for sharing and prayer, individual Bible reading lessons, visitation, counseling, social services, and activities. This is accomplished through a series of surveys that look at spiritual needs, feelings about worship, and suggestions from pastors.  An examination of the historical, sociological, and theological perspectives show that ours is an aging society and there are few resources and aids to meet the seniors' spiritual needs. The methodology included: 1) researched words in the field of gerontology; 2) categorized the material to cover the four areas of adjustment; 3) prepared material for the four sessions; 4) prepared worksheets for seniors to use; 5) had seniors evaluate the sessions; and 6) had seniors respond to ways they'd like to be more involved.  The objectives of the project were accomplished by providing seniors with greater insight into the adjustments they must make in different areas of life and also providing more meaningful ministry. The material would adapt well for four seminar sessions in churches, not only with seniors but the church staff and those
