This project aimed, especially, to prepare a team in the congregation for leadership of a new small group ministry. The leadership training was formatted as a small group experience so that participants with no prior involvement in a small group both learned leadership skills and grew in appreciation of small group dynamics. The project augmented the author's seminar Discover Your Ministry ID. The ministry of the whole people of God according to their God-given design, ministry role, and purpose was explored, along with examining Christian volunteer culture. Implementation included data-gathering, training workshops, and an appreciation banquet for volunteers.
