This project considers how Sportvereine ('sport clubs') offer a promising gospel outreach ministry through community partnership and social networking. Could this gap be bridged? Survey findings revealed common obstacles; however, Kid's Games, Sola and Elebniscamp Kirche und Sport represented three separate models that met with a modicum of success closing the 'sacred-secular' gap. This was accomplished operating from a values-based platform. Study of the Bible, missiological practice, and the Japanese context via surveys and interviews with Japanese pastors indicated that it is a biblically, missiologically, and culturally valid and sound approach for ministry in Japan. Thus while the Igbo naming ceremony makes one an Igbo, the rite of baptism makes one a Christian.  The author analyzed the Anglican rite of baptismal ritual as it is contained in The Book of Common Prayer in the light of Turner's theory of rituals.  He used missional theology as a lens to examine the rite of baptism in the Igbo context of eastern Nigeria. Based on a review of literature concerning worldview, animism, and contextualization, the project prepared, distributed, and analyzed a questionnaire among three sample groups: randomly selected residents of Luchou in Taipei County, 60 young men in the military, and 21 acquaintances of church members. The project examines the basic issues involved in contextualization and offers a defense for the procedure used.  The writer identifies biblical principles of leadership by examining biblical terminology, teaching passages, and character studies.  Traditional patterns of leadership among Alaskan natives as found in the ethnographic literature is described. Attention is also given to the cultural change which Alaska's native people are going through.   results of the study include a paradigm for expressing biblical leadership principles in the native Alaskan context and proposals for changes in Alaska Bible College's curriculum to assist that
