These churches, though apparently growing numerically, are spiritually stagnant and encountering crises, particularly with their young educated members.  Through interviews with the executive leaders of four of the largest of these churches in Nigeria, and a questionnaire survey of about ten large denominations, this writer has been able to document the problems facing their ministerial training. The result of the research has served as a basis for proposing certain criteria necessary to revamp their ministerial training. The project researched and utilized intentional interim and conflict resolution methodologies.  It included interviews with most members of the congregation, seminar training, and a weekend planning retreat. Issues of change and power were encountered.  Original research was conducted into conflict resolution styles in the biblical narratives.  The narrative of the project was written up in modified case study format. Mission work began in 1897, but after 90 years the Argentina Alliance consisted of only about 4,000 believers.  The project attempts to provide a comprehensive history of which will give the members of the Christian and Missionary Alliance in Argentina a sense of their identity.  The project also examined and critiqued those factors which affected church growth positively and negatively. Research included examination of all pertinent books, articles, correspondence, and reports.  In addition, interviews of many church leaders and questionnaires sent to dozens of Alliance leaders past and present, were utilized.
