These moments we might call altar moments. During the Nineteenth and Twentieth Centuries these moments were put into a strategy of evangelism. Revivalists and crusade evangelists, during this period, used the invitation to an altar of prayer as a way to solidify new found faith. During the Twenty-first Century, the altar call has fallen into disuse. They must attend to God's command for older women to be biblical mentors, helping younger women follow Him. The generation of emerging adult women in our churches create the opportunity. They desire mentors to help them navigate the transition to adulthood. Therefore, women's ministry leaders must learn how they can facilitate biblical mentoring relationships for emerging adult women. This project pursued this question through biblical, theological, and current literature in the field, and qualitative research involving emerging adult women and women's ministry leaders. The purpose of this project was to carefully study and succinctly define the qualifications for church leadership as described in 1 Tim 3:1-7; Titus 1:5-9; 1 Pet 5:1-3, and Matt 20:20-28 with an emphasis upon the church leader's Christ-like character development. I developed the lectures and taught them during a series of sessions in a Bible college course on Ecclesiology in Spanish. Given the relative scarcity of this pastoral work the project began with a defense of its propriety. Though church planting efforts have increased since the fall of the Berlin Wall, little fruit is evidenced. What are the best practices of healthy church plants in Poland, and what can be learned from them? From nine churches deemed healthy, had been planted since 2005, and had grown to more than 50 in attendance were selected as case study churches. Church health was assessed based on the four-selves model of self-propagating, self-governing, self-supporting, and self-theologizing. Over the 8 weeks of the course students were exposed to biblical teachings on divorce and remarriage and how these teachings tend to be organized into biblical positions. While students were not compelled to embrace a particular position, they were encouraged to draw definite conclusions based upon teachings. The primary objective of this project was to develop, teach, and evaluate a four-part lesson plan for Christian Life College-Madison leadership course that included guidance-based group decision-making skills. Another major focus was to stimulate a change of mind and anticipated future  actions among students. The pre- and post-training worksheets were compared to determine the trainee's understanding and application of the principles. The nature of these rural video partnerships has been to help existing but dying rural churches find support and facilitate its health and life. This project surveyed past and present video partners to help determine whether the partnerships were or are achieving those goals.
