These seven words which start with the letter 'c' represent seven biblical elements of evangelism. This project produced lessons for a particular congregation so they could learn and practice personal evangelism according to these seven biblical elements of evangelism. This report explored the biblical foundations and the theological reflections of these seven biblical elements and formulated them into a ten-lesson course. A pre-teaching survey of the knowledge of the students about these elements and a similar post-teachng survey served as the guidelines for the course design as well as the basis for the evaluation of the teaching. Consultations with professors and church leaders both in India and in the US, the proposal, ethnography, and the reporting spanned twenty-six months. Twenty constituents including the youth who left, youth currently attending, parents, and pastors were interviewed along with questionnaires. The findings reveal that the youth left because these congregations have been lacking active ministries. All Christians are required to grow spiritually. In both Testaments, God revealed himself as a holy God, and commands that all his children be holy. Books and even courses on spiritual formation cannot, in and of themselves, produce spiritual transformation in believers' lives. Only the Holy Spirit can form and shape them into the image of Christ. With that in mind, the present project entailed the development of a course on spiritual formation at Faculté de Théologie Evangélique de l'Alliance Chrétienne (FATEAC). This project determined the most significant issues that pastors and families of forced exits need to address after they leave their church and during the time of transition. This project used interviews and questionnaires of leaders of ministries who work regularly with pastors of forced exits. Ten issues were identified as being the most important issues for pastors of forced exits to address. The author interviewed six leaders from each of five churches in Toronto, Canada, and observed two worship services of each church. Data presented and common themes were drawn out. Writers on the intercultural church postulate that leaders must intentionally lead a church to become intercultural. The author found that in four out of the five study churches the leaders did not intend their congregation to become intercultural. This project examines one of the ways to increase effectiveness in church planting through the development and execution of a church-based church planting residency program. It examines the assessment, training, and support provided to church planters through case studies of two different types of church planting residency programs. These case studies outline the assessment and recruitment strategies, and then examines their training and equipping models. Finally, it describes how these planters are supported after completing their residency. The goal of this study is to assist Ambassador Church in developing a church-based church planting residency program. The handbook provides practical advice from the pastor in crises, condensed guidance for funerals, and a primer on grief, including the years following a crisis. An annotated bibliography recommends further resources for the busy pastor.
