Considerable attention is given in the manual to biblical examples of conflict and to cross-cultural factors that influence the way conflict is dealt with in other cultures.  Sources of material included books, articles, and DMN courses on conflict management, inter-cultural negotiations, and cross-cultural management. I also drew from my personal observations as well as those of my associates serving with GMU International. The manual has five major sections.  They are designed for a series of five seminar sessions of two to three hours each. The author hopes that the evidences given will help readers to appreciate the uniqueness of biblical faith and enable them to discern the nature of new religious groups.  The method of research used is historical. It is based upon the churches alive growing by discipleship concept.  The project also presents a theological defense of the gospel. Two small groups' three outreaches into the community are presented and evaluated.  Various tools for such are included in the appendices.  The conclusions show that the outreaches may not result in many decisions for Christ initially. The methodology included: 1) researched words in the field of gerontology; 2) categorized the material to cover the four areas of adjustment; 3) prepared material for the four sessions; 4) prepared worksheets for seniors to use; 5) had seniors evaluate the sessions; and 6) had seniors respond to ways they'd like to be more involved.  The objectives of the project were accomplished by providing seniors with greater insight into the adjustments they must make in different areas of life and also providing more meaningful ministry. The class met through an entire academic year, once every two weeks, to learn, interact, and receive training on how to be the most effective residence hall assistant.  The upper class students who participated in the program received three hours of general studies credit. The preacher who carefully and logically studies the vernacular text can produce effective biblical expositions even when the original languages cannot be consulted or effectively used.  This philosophy and methodology was taught and practiced in the Baptist Theological College of Sao Paulo, Brazil, for more than ten years. The main proposition is that, because the key element in worship is response to God, and his revelation, and because preaching seeks to expound God's revelation for his people, the natural order is for preaching to come early in a worship service, to be followed by significant worship response time.  Evaluation was made of the current practice of preaching in worship in the congregation served by the project writer, and, by use of a survey in other churches in Canada. Principles were developed for integrating preaching and worship more effectively. The writer surveyed Korean cognitive processes in literature and in the field.  Given the results, guiding principles were developed for effective Bible study materials based on an inductive method.  A sample study was developed by applying the guiding principles and tested with two other American curricula for comparison in the field.
