Be that as it may, would a certain deathless life be truly happy? The human being is an existence that ultimately ends up dying. The Bible offers two perspectives on interpretation of death: (1) Death is a natural process of life under God's creation order. (2) Death is the consequence of sin. Although death is irresistible, only if we reflect on and prepare will for, it may turn out to be of dignity - even further, of beauty. This study aims to help Christian believers who will someday meet the process of dying to reflect on the truth that death is not an object of fear and horror, and on how precious a human life allowing us to be living only once appears to be, by which, in turn, all Christians can be guided to living a happy life. Lastly, in addition, this is purposed, by virtue of education, to ensure spiritual reinforcement in their hope and assurance for the Kingdom of God."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Wesley Theological Seminary"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["5a6e4a36-5801-4bff-8e61-86d7489efb4a"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["work_editor","public"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1791125207677665280,"timestamp":"2024-02-17T06:08:28.030Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-12T15:42:00Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-05-22T03:08:08Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"e3ebf85d-155d-4617-b9b6-b30c2a132b1a","accessControl_ssim":["8fb8d38d-0e4a-4202-b0bf-d5dca0705b7b"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["Research findings: ethnography of the African American resistance to hospice care"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-12T15:41:58Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T04:39:06Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["043f510b-ade0-45ec-8440-3224ae42ee88"],"hasLease_ssim":["644dc199-42eb-4238-af58-553101ae8af4"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Doctor of Ministry"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Wesley Theological Seminary"],"advisor_tesim":["Michael S Koppel"],"year_tesim":["2013"],"resource_type_tesim":["D.Min. A review of literature on the ars moriendi tradition reveals common themes of hope, compassion, and patience.
