The author asked how to help in recovering intimacy among elderly couples through a sexuality-centered education program.  With nine couples aged sixty-five years or older, the seminar was conducted over three days of intensive retreat. All the participants' responses were very positive and productive. The participants were religiously diverse, including some unaffiliated with either a church or synagogue. Using a questionnaire, residents were interviewed regarding their sources of hope and comfort, religious participation, spiritual practices, psychological age and fear of death.
