Introductions to civil and secular law and United Methodist polity, doctrine and history show the systemic character of the issues. Vivid personal stories from women who experienced sexual harassment show that problems usually are left unattended by church leaders. The secular law, women's studies, family systems theory, and leadership paradigms each offer challenges and opportunities. This model will assist Chinese clergywomen overcoming resistance by mutual support. Through biblical, historical, social, and theological reflections, the study reaffirms women's leadership and their cross-cultural ministry. Through case studies, the researcher compared four Chinese clergywomen's situations with two other ethnic minority clergywomen's groups. The theological basis of this project is John Wesley, Pui-lan Kwok and other Chinese feminist theologians. A survey was conducted on the acceptance of Chinese clergywomen. In conclusion, the researcher suggested ways to promote inclusiveness."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Wesley Theological Seminary"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["5a6e4a36-5801-4bff-8e61-86d7489efb4a"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["work_editor","public"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1799716947877691392,"timestamp":"2024-05-22T02:10:29.992Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-12T02:02:30Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-05-22T02:23:17Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"593ac6f4-b20d-484d-a697-a27c88f5de4e","accessControl_ssim":["24c4de01-54c3-4143-9ab0-600b3f76b2ba"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["Power, authority and spiritual maturity: women clergy serving congregations as rectors or vicars in the Episcopal Diocese of Virginia"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-12T02:02:29Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T00:44:59Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["7980eaf5-30d6-493d-ace0-c0e13f4a6ab2"],"hasLease_ssim":["b190a46e-d55c-4845-b9a1-90ebbd2a8859"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Doctor of Ministry"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Wesley Theological Seminary"],"advisor_tesim":["Carroll Saussy"],"year_tesim":["1992"],"resource_type_tesim":["D.Min.
