Through this method of study, it was found that the AME Church and the URJ share similar passions for individual and corporate advancement in faith, unity, love, and the ability to help others."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Wesley Theological Seminary"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["5a6e4a36-5801-4bff-8e61-86d7489efb4a"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["work_editor","public"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1799717228534300672,"timestamp":"2024-05-22T02:14:57.647Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-12T15:37:12Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-05-22T02:41:31Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"54082402-14c8-4e11-908a-a41e35647930","accessControl_ssim":["33ba861e-3731-40bc-910b-74b922be14e7"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["Speaking the truth in olove: a behavioral covenant as a tool for social transformation in the local church"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-12T15:37:11Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T00:35:41Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["acd5b175-1418-4c10-8300-915f52a1cba4"],"hasLease_ssim":["f54f8de2-0f7b-4d5b-8a2d-7f4eba7c0b78"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Doctor of Ministry"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Wesley Theological Seminary"],"advisor_tesim":["Lovett H Weems"],"year_tesim":["2013"],"resource_type_tesim":["D.Min. It provides the community with a practical discipline for loving one's neighbor by speaking the truth in love. This paper examines the creation and implementation of a behavioral covenant in a declining sixty-year old congregation in the grip of covert and overt bullying. During the four year span studied, 2008-2012, the implementation of the covenant created major impacts, crises, and changes for the pastor, lay-leadership, and congregation. The evidence shows these impacts as empowering, energizing, troubling, disruptive, and regenerative for all involved."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Wesley Theological Seminary"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["5a6e4a36-5801-4bff-8e61-86d7489efb4a"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["work_editor","public"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1799718900646019072,"timestamp":"2024-05-22T02:41:32.297Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-12T15:37:11Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-05-22T01:43:14Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"33b5823f-21e0-40c5-876b-dc44c53b3d1d","accessControl_ssim":["7aa5928c-a367-4f9e-aa62-c598f34c9558"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["A spiritual gifts guide can be developed to help a historically black African American church discover its spiritual gifts to effectively serve its multi-ethnic community"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-12T15:37:11Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-16T23:37:56Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["49e3084c-eb7f-46f0-95e2-ab2fa0734606"],"hasLease_ssim":["3df8f0eb-51b4-48ab-b896-0a2fb4d03997"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Doctor of Ministry"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Wesley Theological Seminary"],"advisor_tesim":["James M Shopshire"],"year_tesim":["2013"],"resource_type_tesim":["D.Min.
