Unfortunately, very little has been done to develop discipleship materials uniquely for Native people. This project presents a new spiritual formation process designed specifically for the students at the Indian Bible College in Flagstaff, Arizona. The author researched spiritual formation theory and Native American culture and Christianity. Chapter two advocates supporting teachers through communication, education, recognition, resources and sabbaticals.  Chapter three describes how care is demonstrated to teachers in the way they are recruited.  Chapter four discusses several types of training for teachers and also sets forth six questions that should guide training.
