Two different models were tested: first, a model based on the author's understanding of how Jesus developed leaders; second, a model from the Industrial Areas Foundation.  On the surface the two models have similarities; however, there are points of difference in terms of method, theology, ecclesiology, and ethical principle. As other denominations ordain more women, the same course should be seriously considered in the Black Baptist churches.
