It explores the use of theological reflection by supervisor and church planter in order to be relevant in an ever-changing ministry environment.    The method used for this project is what is known as the 'grounded theory' approach, because the project calls for qualitative research that seeks to include diversity and quality assessment, both biblically and theologically, to build theory grounded in reality. It considers specific ways by which congregations can better serve the needs and use the experience of the elderly in their administration, pastoral services, educational programs, and community ministries.  The project examines the responsibility of divinity schools to integrate aging concerns into the theological educational and professional training of ministers and other church leaders and proposes an aging center as one model for the divinity school to consider.
