Nine women participated in the project. The eight week process included pre and posttest surveys. Qualitative and quantitative analysis were used to determine impact. Results indicate that participants gained significant awareness of their healing process and experienced measurable positive impact on their identity in Christ and on their experience of heart to heart encounter with Jesus. The data that were collected and analyzed revealed their needs in this church. Noteworthy findings revealed the adult women enjoyed attending and serving the church, women's retreats, learning about women's black history, financial help, and physical conditioning. Some respondents were not sure if they enjoyed attending mid-week services, Sunday school, women's conferences, fellowships, workshops for married couples or adopting a women's shelter. The results of the study provided evidence that understanding biblical marriage and small groups had an impact on the participants' understanding of God's biblical view of marriage. The community found in small groups helped to successfully impact the participants' views of marriage, which were validated through the data. The premise was that such personal conflicts can lead to emotional wounds, yet they are often met with silence and denial. A panel of experts evaluated the resource on a Likert agreement scale questionnaire. The two most prominent findings were that the resource teaches women to restore peaceful fellowship and reinforces the Christian love ethic.
