The project design incorporated a twenty-four-question survey used to measure their responses. The most prominent finding was found in goal one: Majority of the participants felt they were tolerant of grievers during their time of loss. However, they felt they were not accepted when they grieved their losses. A Likert Scale and a series of open ended questions measured the impact that this resource had upon the participants. The findings revealed that although this resource made a positive impact upon the participants' well-being, it did not adequately attend to the subject of grieving losses through lament. The importance of lament in the process of grief is not widely understood. The research question was, 'How well does this resource help divorced women move through the tasks of grief as part of their inner healing?' A panel of experts evaluated the book through questionnaire form. Major finding illustrated that the book would be helpful for divorced women. A series of three workshops was presented at St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Shelby, Ohio, with the belief that Christian principles of grief assist the griever in the process of mourning.  The author proposed that a relationship to Jesus with both personal and communal aspects will help in the overwhelming task of grief.  By pre and post testing the author measures a baseline of both help received and the knowledge gained about the healthy Christian grief process. This was achieved through a two weekend grief retreat and sixteen sessions of spiritual direction. Nineteen of the participants completed pre-test and post-test questionnaires to assess the impact of the formative event. The greatest benefit was in terms of increasing emotional and spiritual healing, promoting a greater experience of God, and learning how to express grief more constructively.
