Using an impact study, attitudes towards communion and missions were measured before and after a six-week period of weekly celebration of communion in worship and three mission experiences of the small group. The resource helps volunteer missionaries examine and apply studies of educational learning theories, cultural challenges, and climatic obstacles. This training manual also provides information regarding the histories and effects of major missionary influences of the region's past.Evaluations reported that the manual provided an adequate summary of historic mission endeavors in Alaska's panhandle. District and church missions mobilizers were surveyed as to the motivations, methods, and obstacles for mobilizing people to the mission field. The participants were also surveyed as to their perspectives on the future of missions in The Alliance. It was clear from the data that missions mobilization within The Alliance is a joint effort between churches, districts, and International Ministries of the C\u0026MA. Twenty-seven participants answered forty-five discovery questions concerning their missional experiences. Their responses revealed that they had been transformed by the Holy Spirit and graciously answered the call to missional servanthood. There is no way of being human without participating in culture, for it is through culture that human community is created. This dissertation is a study of the work of 19th century missionaries into Chinland, Union of Burma. An evaluation of the data shows that these missionaries were not sensitive enough to the indigenous culture and tradition of the Chin.
