It consisted of six weekly sessions using readings from the book Healing for damaged emotions by David A. Seamands and discussion questions to stimulate group interaction. Group assessments consisting of pre- and post-test questionnaires were utilized to determine the effectiveness of small group ministry with this group of at-risk men. The research question was, 'How well does this resource help divorced women move through the tasks of grief as part of their inner healing?' A panel of experts evaluated the book through questionnaire form. Major finding illustrated that the book would be helpful for divorced women.
