However, many in today's society claim to be Christians, but seem to put forth little effort to actually obey Him. The praxis director led a discipleship seminar, which utilized the teaching and practice of the spiritual disciplines, to cultivate more obedient disciples. As a whole, the participants experienced greater levels of perceived spiritual growth while participating in the practice of the spiritual disciplines.
