Seminars taught enhancement of communication, resolutions of conflict, and time and money management skills. The writer measured definite positive cognitive, attitudinal, and behavioral changes in the majority of the project participants. These 'remarried' families were found to have many of the same needs as first, or in tact families, but also had unique needs growing out of the circumstances of either death or divorce, and subsequent remarriage. The data was gathered in a parish setting with several remarried families participating in structured interviews. These same families also became a study group using the curriculum that was eventually developed.
