This strategy, cooperative learning, which is adopted from secular education, is examined, theologically critiqued, and adapted as a means of improving instruction and interpersonal interaction in the church.  Not only are responses given from active Christian teachers, but opinions from selected Christian education writers are shared concerning social dimensions of learning. This theory recognized that each student brought with him or her a personal understanding which could be built upon through feeling, observing, thinking and doing to become a biblical concept.  The study projected that new knowledge would be created through process theology by the transformation of experience.  It employed the direct encounter method of creative drama through the modes of comedy and tragedy.
