On the basis of questionnaires and interviews, the project identifies language differences as the primary sources of conflict within families, yet greater conflicts stem from the clash of different models of social interaction--authoritarian and Korean, egalitarian and American. These styles of parenting generate the same conflicts in the church as in the home. Ten such persons participate in the project. Six of them indicate that their critical images influence formation of their images of God, based on the similarity of structural elements in both images.
