How does a disabled working-class woman find her voice to become a preacher in a mainline Protestant denomination?  Does she have something new to say to a congregation?  How does her particular preaching style interface with a small, rural congregation in the midst of change?  Using liberation theology, new homiletic theories and autobiography, this paper will explore some of the complexities of preacher formation.
