Psychological analysis of self-development invites an assessment of the language used to describe human development. Theology calls for an examination of the language used to formulate its theories and its messages. This project proposes that it is almost impossible for a woman to attempt to change a hierarchical power structure,  provides demonstrating case studies, and draws necessary implications.  The project asks, 'Can a hierarchical power structure be changed to a shared power structure in one local congregation?'
