This project is composed of three parts: theoretical research, the application of ODT to the KMC, and a case study of a local church. Natural systems theory provides a framework for understanding the relationship system and centering prayer provides a tool for effecting change in that system. The systems approach provided a significant shift in perception about the congregation, which enabled the pastor to bring positive action to a very difficult situation.
