The research conclusions reflect various core values, key principles, and training methodologies and strategies as they are realized in the philosophy of the program design, the characteristics of the student population, the cultural context, the training needs of the target audience, the personalities and philosophies of the main leadership core staff, and other factors of the specific training institution. The final recommendations to educators in Majority World ministry training programs are: (1) develop a strong indigenous infrastructure before launching the program, (2) avoid dependence on foreign funding and expatriate faculty, and (3) develop a healthy training model that plans for measured growth. Student outcomes and program stewardship were evaluated using qualitative and quantitative methodologies. Students were generally successful in achieving the profile of understandings, skills, and qualities. Students were critical to ministry success. The program was extremely cost-efficient and had good human resource stewardship. An online survey covered the sources and symptoms of stress, coping strategies utilized, and the effectiveness of resources. Overall trends were identified, as well as differences in gender, age, and field location. The primary stressor was high expectations of oneself or feeling inadequate. Although their physical and emotional symptoms showed that they were significantly  impacted by stress, they responded in healthy ways. The overarching research question was 'What leadership practices of senior pastors of Southern Baptist Churches in South Carolina with 500 or more worship attenders have enabled those churches to grow rapidly for three consecutive years?'  Grounded Theory was the method used in this research.  A 360 degree interview approach with the senior pastor and three key leaders in each church provided the data for research. Personal participation in missions has been missing in many traditional South Carolina Baptist churches. There is a need to shift to a new paradigm of doing missions.  A growing number of South Carolina Baptist churches have implemented a partnership strategy--resulting in greater involvement among the congregation.  The methodology used in this field research was a case study involving six churches.  These churches had little missions involvement until adopting the partnership strategy. Material resources are less important than one might believe. Have a plan for both developing leaders and involving them as soon as possible. A church planter needs to be sure of calling. Problems with the mother/partner church can impact the plant significantly. Healthy core group is essential.Spousal support is a must. This dissertation seeks to answer questions relevant to how stress affects the lives of students, their spouses, and children. Research utilized a polling instrument and interviews of students at CIU.  The results indicate those who responded handle stress in a generally positive manner.  The major sources of stress were time demands, school work, and finances/debt.  The major symptoms of stress were tiredness, anxiety, and irritability.
