A pretest and posttest assessed the level of well-being and the variety of active connections. The paired samples t-test lacked statistical significance. Ethnographic interviews assessed the change in personal connection and a reflection paper assessed a participant's motivation to extend this ministry. Christian spiritual formation is the process whereby Christians are conformed to the image of Christ. Extroverted Christian women (tested using Myers Briggs Type Indicator) participated in group practice of spiritual disciplines over a four month period. Quantitative analysis included a behavioral questionnaire and the Spiritual Assessment Inventory. Qualitative analysis was based on individual interviews. Four small groups produced a custom-made lectionary, collected related reference materials, and provided the pastor with weekly exegetical and presentation ideas, supporting materials, and feedback on proposed sermons. The pastor's increase in satisfaction and reduction in frustration with the overall sermon preparation process indicated positive change. Groups of young adults participated in a mission-biased experiential curriculum over 16 weeks. Nineteen groups were located in nine cities around the U.S. Quantitative research was done before and after the indepth interviews were done after the sixteen weeks, in order to assess participants' experience of community. The participatory group and the control group answered a specially prepared inventory, the Small Group Evangelism Scale, before and after the training class.  The results of the class based on the scale indicated that the class was viable. It involved teaching multi-level mentor training to a group of cell leaders and cell members. A test to measure identification with statements that reflected the qualities of a multi-level mentoring disciple-maker was given both pre- and post-course to measure any increase in identification, along with journaling.
