The researcher used biblical principles from Romans 14-16 to address the root problems of judging and despising. ANOVA with a pretest, posttest, and waitlist design was used to compare the change in dependent variables in relation to the independent variable PREP. The test group compared to the control group showed moderate positive effect sizes for communication and conflict resolution skills. Regarding marital satisfaction and intimacy no statistically significant changes were noted. The research administered the Thomas-Kilmann Conflict Mode Instrument (TKI) and four employee conflict resolution seminars to Christian school faculty members to measure relatively effective employee conflict resolution behavior.  There were no statistically significant results between pretest and posttest for the total group or for the men or women faculty. An informal demographic questionnaire was completed by each deacon. The level of understanding was determined using a Likert scale questionnaire and a conflict inventory instrument in the pre/post study interview. The results indicated that overall the project may have enabled the deacons to better understand their role in conflict resolution.
