The behavioral change targeted in this thesis was measured by two questionnaires distributed after two 'Friendship Sunday' worship services to which members of the local congregation had been encouraged to invite their 'seeker' friends.  The only difference between the first Sunday and the second was the treatment, the (ten) sermons.  The measure of success was a 10 percent increase in the number of church members who invited a 'seeker.'  By that measure the project failed.
