The author led the team members through a simplified strategic planning process, from scripture, to values, to ministries, to preliminary plans for implementing those ministries. The author verified his thesis, through quantitative and qualitative measurements. The team members' mindsets were changed through the process. The author evaluated the differences in the relationship between husband and wife after they went through a financial stewardship program. Using purposeful sampling in a qualitative research design, the researcher-pastoral counselor describes the treatment of two critical cases in his clinical practice involving two school age boys diagnosed with ADHD. The findings show that the pastoral counselor recognized, understood, and treated the ADHD symptomatic behaviors within the interactional, psychological, and theological experience of the families' systems. The author's thesis is that if siblings are taught to respond to a disturbed brother/sister through boundary maintenance, differentiation of self, balanced roles/power, and empathy, then understanding of sibling relationships will improve. This project integrated a biblical theology of brother/sister relationships with four family systems change constructs. A literature review critiqued systems theory and suggested that these constructs are compatible with scripture. Eight families participated in six therapy sessions from November 2004 through January 2006. Each family had one child between the ages of 10 to 18 with a DSM IV diagnosis. A pre-test/post-test research design utilizing the Brother-Sister Questionnaire (BSQ) measured the four family systems change constructs. Data from the Marginal Homogeneity Exact Test indicated that statistically significant change did occur among participating siblings, but no measurable change occurred among disturbed siblings or siblings' parents. Insofar as possible, the effectiveness of the divorce recovery program known as Fresh Start Australia Pty. Ltd. was evaluated. The thesis includes a study of the high rate of divorce, the social impact of the disintegration of the family and the perceived failure of the church to address this problem. The writer seeks to encourage and endorse marriage and contrast the benefits to direct and collateral damage done by divorce. Insofar as possible, the writer examined the biblical role of marriage, divorce and re-marriage throughout biblical and contemporary times. The project began with a questionnaire concerning spiritual gifts and one's purpose in the church. Next, a three part sermon series on spiritual gifts was used to educate and inspire members to participate in the seminar. During the seminar, students took inventories to discover their spiritual gifts, passions, personality, and temperament types and completed a ministry resume form. The project was designed to cover ten classroom lectures and one four-hour seminar in a retreat setting. The author's self-identified four movements of prayer were the source of the lectures. Nine couples participated in a study designed to teach husbands and wives how to pray for each other in the context of daily life. The Intimacy Needs Survey (Bagarozzi, 2001) was used as the pretest-posttest instrument to measure changes in the couple's perception of intimacy. Analysis of the raw scores indicated 89 percent of the couples reported an average of 30 percent increase in intimacy. Methods: The author conducted a case study of the International Christian Fellowship of Caracas and a survey of forty-two other expatriate ministries in order to evaluate the missionary potential of international churches. Included is a theological and theoretical search for a model of expatriate ministry that can be used in outreach to indigenous peoples that leads to the planting of a national church. Conclusion: Because many of the approximately 1,000 international churches are involved in outreach to indigenous peoples, and because some have planted national churches, they should be considered as an alternative approach for mission to the middle and upper classes in the major cities of the
