It was based on an approach to confirmation as a process of identity formation. The project concluded with a 'mission worship' led by the youth in which samulnori and other aspects of Korean culture were introduced into the confirmation service. The results of this project revealed that the teachers have a strong sense of vocation and commitment as teachers.  However, they lack self-confidence as teachers due to their inadequate training and preparation. A statistical review of Lutheran lay people demonstrates a readiness for a broader understanding of stewardship.  The evaluations reveal that the Bible study raises the consciousness that stewardship is a lifestyle. Such integration is demonstrated through the writings of participants which exhibit four criteria: sensibility, insight or awareness, conviction and congruence between meaning and feeling.  A fifth criterion, release of energy or action, is not present or not determined by the evaluation methods of the study.
