This is encouraging for further study with spiritual directors and their perception of dreams.  This study explores the incubated dreams of current students and graduates of Audire: The Central Florida Foundation for Spiritual Direction.  Participants incubated a dream about their work as spiritual directors and were interviewed using the Gayle Delaney method to assist in dream interpretation. The project involves working with curriculum action research embedded within one-day ministry discernment events for laity. Measurement tools include a spiritual gift inventory, repeated measures Likert questionnaires, a short-term photovoice exercise, and semi-structured interviews. The project was based on biblical, theological, and psychological studies of spirituality, midlife, and spiritual formation, with special emphasis on Jungian perspectives, developmental psychology, and the Korean concept of han, and focusing on the issues and needs of midlife. The thesis is that a broadened understanding of stewardship requires a wholistic approach to spiritual formation and the ordering of congregational life so that members experience the call to be stewards of the gifts of God.  Worship is re-structured; a vocational group is formed; two study groups are offered; and adminsitration is modified, beginning with the process of adopting a congregational mission statement.
