Five leaders were selected and equipped in cognitive ability, skills and affect for six months.  This equipping process included six training sessions, implementing the core elements of small group ministry: effective leadership, good community environment, balanced small group activities into the small groups and individual monthly mentoring.  All the leaders demonstrated spiritual growth and improved their understanding of the concepts and practical skills of doing small group ministry. The biblical model of conflict resolution between Aramaic-speaking and Greek-speaking Christians provided inspiration for the project.  A questionnaire was designed to survey and gather data on conflict management of Chinese-born and American-born Chinese church leaders.  Next, training sessions were developed with six areas of emphasis.  They were conducted at three Chinese churches in different geographical locations. The training program helped the participants promote their spiritual growth, strengthen their commitment and improve their effectiveness in their services.  It benefited the church in equipping present church leaders and developing new church leaders. The policy manual in this project is a useful resource in achieving fraternalistic administrative leadership. The author selected eight people from the church for training and sought to inculcate within them the need to do personal evangelism. The trainees were required to participate in three field practices: people search visits, street evangelism and home visits.  Eight persons also were recruited as members of a control group.  They filled out the same questionnaires taken by the trainees before and after training.
