The study is interdisciplinary in approach, drawing from scriptural tradition, critical evaluation of trained/untrained auditors along with insights from modern communication theories.  The basic premise of the project is that effective biblical pulpit communication can be achieved in the church.  The project reviews fifteen weeks of designated sermons from the book of Hebrews.  Talk-back sessions followed the preaching of the messages. These illusions have helped create communication blocks in marriage relationships. The project was designed to cause a positive change in the interpersonal perception of individual members within their marriages.  Action research is the design methodology.  The Taylor-Johnson Temperament Analysis Test is the primary testing instrument.  Significant change occurred in three areas: attitudes, individual profiles, and selected temperament traits.
