The project involved a four-day leadership training retreat followed by a semester of mentoring student team leaders. Team leaders were given training in Personal Style inventory, DISC inventory, Spiritual Gifts inventory, use of spiritual disciplines, team building, mentoring, discipleship levels, and reproducing disciples. Congregational health demonstrated by longer tenures of church leaders and conflict with less intensity and better resolution has occurred as leaders understand and apply systems thinking, recognize the problems and issues in systems, and remain differentiated in difficult situations. The project accomplished these goals. Leader and couple manuals were developed.  Besides study and research, the director drew upon his own personal experience and knowledge of Hispanic culture.  The training was carried out through pre-retreat examinations and questionnaires, a three-day training and enrichment retreat, and follow-up evaluations.
