The project utilized a small group format that was specifically designed to guide men as they pursue their divine calling. Thirteen laypersons were trained during seven sessions in the principles of leadership, small group discipleship, group building, and the inductive Bible study method.  These principles were applied to the existing adult Bible study program.  Evaluation procedures revealed a positive move from a basic lecture style of teaching to a relational style of teaching.
