The research is primarily directed towards etiology and focuses on adolescent and mass hysteria cases. This study found that individuals with Conversion Disorder seemed to experience depression-like symptoms. Furthermore, the results indicated that ongoing family and marital strife was significantly related to conversion disorder. The findings indicate a lack of conflict resolution skills to deal with the stress of the conflicts. While we rejoice for this open door and the opportunity for the gospel, we also see the challenges in establishing the new believers in the biblical faith as wll as the development of leaders for the emerging churches. The challenge of developing leaders becomes more complex as many of them are oral learners. One of the ways to face the challenge is to use oral methods in training leaders. This thesis describs the opportunities and challenges in Bihar, India. It surveys mission history, particularly focused on the Bihar Reach-Out Network. It builds a biblical and theological foundation for consideration of orality. The task consists of four components.  First, to research and to formulate eight core biblical convictions that are essential for the task of expository preaching. Second, to research China and its culture, the Chinese mindset, and the house church movement. It also looks into the learning process of the rural people and the training resources in preaching. Third, to design a biblical preaching course targeting Chinese rural pastors who have a lower level of education. The training material is adapted from Dr. Haddon W. Robinson's step-by-step process as described in his book, Biblical Preaching. Dr. John Sung spoke to the Chinese people in various meetings and many turned to the Lord. While preaching, Dr. Sung would often spontaneously interrupt the preaching to lead the congregation in hymnal choruses. The singing plus his message led many people to the Lord. In the 1990's, the Chinese churches in China increased rapidly and many people were spiritually revived and came to know the Lord. One of the reasons why the number of Christians has grown in China has been because of how God has used a young village girl, Xiao Min, to write hundreds of worship hymns by the moving of the Holy Spirit and many were moved by the hymnal singing. Its aim is to help Jordanian Christian couples who have marital conflicts, because of the intervention of the husband's family of origin (especially his mother), to reach a better marital life. In Jordanian culture, parents demand their son's obedience and expect that their daughterinlaw will serve them. These two issues create conflicts among marital couples and affect their marital life negatively. Throughout therapy couples can change their negative beliefs into positive ones and understand the biblical truth concerning their marriages without hurting cultural truth.
