Further, there is a redemptive framework that can inform and shape this developmental process in such a way that lives are changed, transformational leaders can be multiplied, and an organization (a church congregation in this case) may be nurtured into vibrancy and health. It is the desire of this writer that this thesis-project may not only articulate a guiding philosophy of developmental process at Faith Baptist Fellowship, but also create an intentional plan and structure for reproducing transformational leaders who possess and can assert their leadership in light of the redemptive leadership framework. From this examination general abiding principles of church renewal in the Wesleyan tradition are developed. The conflict engendered by the implementation of these principles is also discussed. While the original purpose of WNA was to serve a support function, it appeared that they soon operated with management authority. Professor John Kotter, author of Leading change and The heart of change, is often cited as an authority on corporate culture change. This paper researches the inception and implementation of WNA and analyses the implementation process in light of the eight steps of corporate change recommended by Kotter. More specifically, the researcher studied the leadership of Rev. Young Choon Chang, the senior pastor of the Korean American Presbyterian Church of Queens (KAPCQ) and the impact of his leadership on the growth of KAPCQ.  This research employed qualitative study methods with information obtained through interviews, surveys, documents, and observations.  The results of this research are stated below.  First, we know that in the late 20th century a fresh wave of leaders transformed nations and organizations with a style of leadership that recent leadership research has defined as transformational leadership.  This newly defined leadership model promises to change the very essence of organizations that under inefficient leadership had not looked beyond the status quo. Second, although the term 'transformational leadership' was coined by James MacGregor Burns in 1978, the researcher found that the idea of transformational leadership originated in the concept of man's creation in the image of God and the creation mandate in the Bible.
