The process of preparing a doctrinal sermon is similar to any sermon providing exposition of a scriptural text. However, there are certain aspects of the doctrinal sermon that require special attention. In 'The preparation and delivery of expository doctrinal sermons,' the reader will learn the biblical basis for teaching doctrine and preaching doctrinal sermons. Chapter one details a problem in evangelicalism with the neglect of doctrinal preaching. Chapter two provides the theological framework. Chapter three provides a literary review of what other scholars, pastors and theologians are writing about the teaching of doctrine in the church. This paper will take a look at today's urban youth culture and at why it is so important to reach them with the gospel while they are young.  The author will present a theological framework for urban youth ministry, providing a biblical basis for a culturally relevant ministry to kids.  This project will also examine ingredients for an effective urban youth ministry by utilizing a 'hexagoning' research process based on systems thinking. The revival methods at the heart of the controversy, along with the question of human ability in salvation, are analyzed from a biblical perspective. The methods of the two most prominent mass evangelists of the last sixty years, Billy Graham and Luis Palau, are also examined. A historical analysis of Christian approaches attempted during the past thirteen centuries have failed to adequately equip Christians to become more effective witnesses with Muslims. This research attempts to identify principles of witness with Muslims and some possible starting points for developing a Christian theology addressed to the Muslim's frame of understanding. Social analysis, study of urban Christian literature, relevant biblical texts, hexagoning and implementing ministries around the felt needs of urban Christian leaders were the methodology.  This research reveals that churches in Boston and Springfield are multiplying. The test group included the elders and deacons of the Peachtree City Church of Christ in Peachtree City, Georgia. The focal point of the project was an eight-week leadership class. Two measurement tools were used: the General Self-Efficacy Scale Shearer and the General Perceived Self-Efficacy Scale. Significant increases were recorded in understanding of purpose. Corresponding to this increased mission clarity were minimal elevations in self-efficacy.
