For the children and youth there were Sunday school classes, seminars, Muslim guests, and a children's sermon on symbols of Islam, Judaism, and Christianity. Adults learned through classes, panel discussions, seminars, book groups and guests.  All ages studied the basic tenets of Islam. Similarities and dissimilarities between Islam and Christianity were explored. This project develops a model for religious education based on the basic Christian community.  Eleven intergenerational communities in a suburban parish are given an inductive curriculum that enables them to share faith within a setting that supports faith-filled living. Leadership training and liturgical and social celebrations are an integral part of the process.
