This ministry integrates new members into the life of the congregation and keeps longtime members connected to pastoral care. The process, designed for both the remarrying couple and their custodial and non-custodial children, requires a pastor as well as a lay counselor who works primarily with children.  It culminates in a uniquely personal remarriage ceremony planned and participated in by the entire family and the pastor. The report covers a period of one year.  Reflections are presented for each monthly session. Approximately twenty persons attended each meeting.  The project reflects theologically and psychologically on the issues of death, mourning, widowhood and God's will in people's lives.  The report examines these topics scripturally and historically.
