The experiential nature of the program was designed to sow seeds of curiosity about difference by showcasing the often- overlooked artistic heritage of each culture. It replaced traditional confirmation education for youth and provided faith formation opportunities for adults new or returning to faith. It prepared participated for today's changing religious landscape and to shape the church moving forward. The program offered the opportunity for Affirmation of Baptism (Confirmation) or Reaffirmation of Baptism. The author structured the program around the following keys to resilience: people, positivity, pliability, problem-solving, piety, and purpose. The research focused on the culture of the congregation and the pivotal role it might play in an imagined future. By providing opportunities across cultures for participants to appreciate their lived experience of the Gospel, the project demonstrated the important role diversity can play in creating 'The Body of Christ.' This project involves a series of sermons, workshops, and presentations with the goal of creating a health-minded culture in a congregation by using holistic health initiatives.
