It begins with a historical review of initiation into the Christian Church and includes an extended section of infant baptism.  The theological stance based on covenant responsibilities and God's grace through Jesus Christ supports infant baptism.  The philosophical arguments involve how we know and communicate reality.  The experiential focus of the confirmation model contrasts with the more popular 'workbook' model. Christian worship is the setting for retelling those stories, and within worship the arts add a new dimension which bring the stories to life for the worshippers.  The project is a practical and theological exploration of the use of mime as an art form used in worship.  A mime worship service was developed for a local congregation and a synod meeting to consider the thesis. The arts touch people on a different level than the preached word.  This added dimension allows people to participate in the stories.
