This missionary incentive is supported by the preaching ministry of the church.  Three types of sermons are suggested as best suited to support this missionary incentive, including mystagogical preaching, apologetic preaching and missional preaching.  The intended purpose is that listeners of such sermons will develop a stronger connection between their participation in the Table and what it means to be sent for mission and ministry in the world.
