It is a method for doing the EMR with a small group for a period of six weeks, with emphasis on a biblical and theological understanding of Christian stewardship.  The intention is to provide more depth and involvement in the mission of the congregation, resulting in increased member participation and support.  A pilot test was conducted at Grace Lutheran Church (Wyndmoor, PA), resulting in significant increases in pledges of time, abilities and resources. The process of reflective, constructive critique is based on the concept of theopraxis via John Douglas Hall.  The study sessions seek to discern mid-range  principles and engage the participants in a both a self-reflective process and personal vision building process.  The goal is to enhance the participant's identity as a child of God and his or her role in God's economy.
