The desire of the author was to, simultaneously, conduct an effective meeting and develop a true team concept among participating staff members.  The purpose was accomplished through researching how effective meetings are conducted and implementing proven methods into a church staff meeting.  This process was followed for a period of two months with proper evaluative tools designed to show improvement. These principles are examined through research, workshops, interviews, and comprehensive analysis.  What results from this work first of all, is a conscientious attempt to understand staff development from a staff member's point of view.
