The selected group received training materials as well as instruction on how to lead an EMPACT Bible study group.  The training materials were introduced in a workshop format.  The mode of instruction was determined by the results of the research. The project involved enlisting eighteen collegiate facilitators for the training workshop.  The workshop consisted of eight sessions taught in four days.  The dates of implementation were May 22-26, 2003.  After the training, the workship and the participants were evaluated.  The project director assessed the findings by using post-tests, covenant cards, and role-playing. Teachers must be equipped to teach Bible studies to Haitian church members in Creole, French, and English.  The project director designed a project that would help Haitian teachers integrate each language according to their specific roles in the church setting.
